In 1939, members of Congregational Churches (later to become United Church of Christ/UCC) founded Plymouth Place through charitable gifts from the founding churches and individuals. Our founders’ vision lives on: Plymouth Place provides quality person-centered care, with the goal of personal well-being. With our donors’ support, this mission improves the lives of Residents and the community we serve.
Our donors know their gifts support the quality of life of all Residents and provide care for Residents who have outlived their resources.
Plymouth Place is a 501(c)3 corporation that exists to serve the residential and health care needs of older adults. All contributions are tax-deductible as allowable by law. Our Charitable Giving Program includes:
In 2010, our Legacy Society was renamed in honor of Naomi Tudor Borwell, founder of our Endowment Fund and long-time chair of the board of directors’ Gifts and Bequests Committee. Naomi strongly believed in the Plymouth Place mission and that “…there is no better place for older adults to live a full life with dignity than Plymouth Place.”
The Naomi Tudor Borwell Legacy Society recognizes donors who contribute a gift of $1,000.00 or more to the Endowment Fund and/or donors naming Plymouth Place as a beneficiary in their estate plans.
