Nurses Care at Plymouth Place

Nursing care is here when you need it. Some residents come directly into the Health Care Center from home or the hospital, while others have the benefit of moving through our continuum, having lived in a cottage or apartment at Plymouth Place.

Day care and respite care are available for a few hours or a few days in our Health Care Center.

Our staff cares. Plymouth Place’s Health Care Center is an 86-bed nursing facility, licensed by the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) and accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO). JCAHO accreditation puts our Health Care Center among the 20% of nursing homes that elect to meet these higher quality standards. That translates into highly skilled nursing care delivered in an environment of "high-touch, low tech.
