Life on Brewster Lane: Cottage Living at Plymouth Place

Most of Plymouth Place’s 20-acre campus lies behind the stately Georgian-style building that you see from LaGrange Road. It is here, on the winding street called Brewster Lane, that you will see a picturesque neighborhood of homes. Many new residents take advantage of our ability to customize their new homes. Want a sunroom? An expanded kitchen? We will work with a builder to help you realize your dream.

The Plymouth Place "cottages" are two- and three-bedroom, Georgian-type brick ranch homes: All the advantages of owning a house without the hassles! Plymouth Place staff takes care of the chores most retirees want to leave behind, such as mowing the lawn, shoveling snow, and tending to outside maintenance of the home. We also provide on-site security and access to our Resident Nurse Office 24 hours a day.

Residents are always welcomed in the Main Building to access amenities which include a well-stocked library, private dining rooms for entertaining, a hair salon, accommodations for out-of-town guests, college classes, travel programs, and special social programs.
