In 1939, members of Congregational Churches (later to become United Church of Christ/UCC) founded Plymouth Place through charitable gifts from the founding churches and individuals. Plymouth Place remains affiliated with the United Church of Christ. Through our founders' vision our mission has lived on for more than 65 years. Plymouth Place has established a reputation in our community for providing quality person-centered care, which celebrates personhood and creativity toward the goal of well-being. Plymouth Place believes in the dignity and worth of each individual and the need to retain one's own personal identity and independence. Through our donors' support, our mission lives in the hearts of our residents and the community we serve.
Our donors know their gifts support the quality of life of all residents and provide life care for residents who have outlived their resources.
