Personal Care Companions (PPIPs)

The Plymouth Place Independence Plus (PPIP) program provides companionship with a one-to-one philosophy. This service, in concert with our staff and Silver Services, provides a well-rounded approach to meeting our residents’ various needs. Companionship is more than just "hand holding."

Plymouth Place recruits, hires, and trains these caregivers who spend focused time with individual residents. You might see them with residents taking a walk outside, going to the store, or just visiting. These companions will help in the Health Care Center in much the same way. They can do laundry, straighten closets, and accompany residents to appointments leaving the family free to spend quality time with their loved one. Companions are available to residents every day, including weekends and holidays.
