Employment at Plymouth Place
Plymouth Place offers an array of employee benefits for both full time and part time staff. Benefits are offered by Plymouth Place to enhance the quality of life for Staff as well as Residents in a person-centered care environment. A summary of the current benefits offered is listed below. Please note that benefits may change from time to time.
The Plymouth Place Medical Plan is available to both full time staff (working 40 hours per week for unlicensed staff and 32 hours a week for licensed staff) and part time staff (working at least 20 hours per week on a regular basis). Employees have the choice of enrolling in one of three BlueCross Blue Shield plans:
- PPO (Preferred Provider Organization Plan)
- HSA-PPO (Health Savings Account - Preferred Provider Organization Plan)
- HMO (Health Maintenance Organization Plan with large managed care networks for all your health care needs.)
The election of medical benefits - PPO, HSA-PPO or HMO - includes a prescription drug plan. The prescription drug plan includes retail and mail-order options. There are copayments that vary depending on whether a generic, formulary or brand name drug is chosen by you and/or your healthcare provider. In the HSA-PPO plan, prescription drug costs are your responsibility until the deductible is satisfied; once the deductible is met, 80% of a prescription drug cost is covered.
Plymouth Place offers its employees a Network Primary Dental Plan. Dental insurance is free to those covered under one of our medical plans. It is also available at low cost as a separate benefit for both full time staff (working 40 hours per week for unlicensed staff and 32 hours a week for licensed staff) and part time staff (working at least 20 hours per week on a regular basis). This plan allows you the option of choosing an in-network dental care provider or an out-of-network provider. The choice of an in-network dental care provider affords you the maximum benefit. This plan even covers some limited orthodontia coverage.
Plymouth Place offers its employees a voluntary Vision Service program. It is available at low cost as a separate benefit for both full time staff (working 40 hours per week for unlicensed staff and 32 hours a week for licensed staff) and part time staff (working at least 20 hours per week on a regular basis).
Life Insurance & Accidental Death & Dismemberment
All regular full time employees (unlicensed staff working 40 hours per week and licensed staff working 32 hours per week) are entitled to company-paid life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment insurance.
Short Term Disability insurance
Plymouth Place pays for the entire cost of the limited short-term disability insurance for all full time employees (unlicensed staff working 40 hours per week and licensed staff working 32 hours per week).
Retirement Savings (403b Plan)
Employees that work 1,000 hours or more during the plan year and are employed on the first day and the last day of the plan year (calendar year) are eligible for a 2.5% company contribution to their 403b retirement account. Employees that make personal contributions via payroll deduction of up to 1% of their gross pay will receive a 100% matching contribution from Plymouth Place.
Regular full time employees and regular part-time employees who meet the eligibility requirements receive vacation pay based on years of eligible service and the number of hours worked. The purpose of vacation pay is to provide regular full and part time staff time off with pay for vacation and leisure activities.
Regular full time employees who meet the eligibility requirements receive approximately 1 week (actually 39 hours) of sick pay per calendar year. This time may accumulate up to 273 hours--at which time the benefits stops accruing.
Plymouth Place recognizes six national holidays and four personal days annually for which full time employees (unlicensed staff working 40 hours per week and licensed staff working 32 hours a week) are eligible for pay. If a part time employee is regularly scheduled on the day of the week that the holiday falls in a given calendar year, that staff member will be paid the number of hours he or she would normally work (up to 8 hours).
All Plymouth Place employees have the option of joining the HealthCare Association Credit Union. Credit Union payments are made by direct deposit.
For the convenience of Plymouth Place staff, we can direct deposit paychecks into most bank accounts.
